Go, get your ‘self’!

Empty are the streets that find no light, for the darkness is driven by the lack of power to enlighten, within. ‘Self’, a word that is ordinarily given least significance but carries immense potential.

An armour, a weapon, this ‘self’ is a treasure, that needs to be explored. The charm that brightens your smile, the fear that tears the eye.

I am often lost in the rat race, in this fast pace, that I wonder where to stop and take a break.

A perfect illusion flashes my mind, a phase where I sit back and think, what do I want? What am I running towards? Is the negative energy that has built up really worth it? Do I feel the right thrills down my spine doing what I do?

Never underestimate the power of introspection!

When you decide to give yourself time, you create a niche for yourself, a wealth that is priceless. Take the time to unleash, a bit away from the world, the routine.

If you wake up with a frown, setting to do something that doesn’t make you happy from within, you definitely need to disengage. How are you going to discover what you want if you harshly push yourself towards the taxing schedule?

Sit back, with a coffee maybe, and spend time with yourself.

Do what you like, say what you want, create a world of your own, a world that does not judge, a world where you need to please none, but yourself.

After all, ‘you’ can never let yourself down!

You often come across those beautiful souls that smile their way through their tears. An eternity is what one would take to understand them.

It is a treasure. They can laugh and surround themselves with energy that seems mesmerizing. They would leave behind all their troubles to be there, when you want them to.

When it’s a heartbreak, they shatter from within yet believe in showing the brighter side to the world. Never do they want to share those emotions which run down to cries, just not to burden the ones that already struggle to find solace.

These fragile hearts are the ones that seem like the happiest humans, yet cry to themselves at night. Find peace in silence when they can go to bed and do not need to pretend like the epitome of positivity. Now is when the hidden fears that haunt them pour down their eyes. The memories that thwart them give ache.

Yes. These kinds of people do exist. Infact, in many of us! A creature that lies inside, deep within, that we would hide in a shell. A shell that breaks when the body is tired of acting and the mind has given up on trying. This is when we decide to open up, to ourselves, the only soul we believe that knows us best.
